Congresbury
Footpaths Group
The
footpath group, which was formed in March 1993, exists to
encourage its members to walk on, enjoy and help to preserve the
ancient footpaths in the countryside around Congresbury.
We walk on the first Tuesday and third Sunday of the month.
The Tuesday walk is for just two hours and is of a gentler nature than the Sunday walk.
The Sunday walk is usually between 5 and 10 miles, at an easy pace, but usually some hills are involved.
The cost per walk is only £1.00, payable to the leader at the start of the walk.
New members or guests are always welcome on any walk. All you need are strong shoes or boots; wet weather clothing; a love of the countryside and to have fun on the day. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.
